Certification Details

Our online, self-study Certification Course is designed for coaches, HR professionals, instructors, leaders, and individuals wanting to add social and emotional intelligence coaching to their toolkit of services. The course teaches you about social and emotional intelligence and provides a framework for you to coach others.

Social and emotional intelligence is all about behavioral change and our course will give you the tools and experience you need to help your clients become aware of and modify behaviors that may be slowing them down and help them leverage their strengths to their advantage.

The Certification Course is based upon the 4 Quadrant Model of Emotional Intelligence and covers 26 competencies of social and emotional intelligence, providing expert training on how to coach social and emotional intelligence and how to administer the Social and Emotional Intelligence Profile (SEIP®), both the Self and 360 versions of the assessment. 

We work through case studies and learn how to debrief SEIP® reports for your clients and help them develop a growth plan for behavioral change. We also discuss how you can market yourself as a Social and Emotional Intelligence Coach® once you have completed the course.
